“Mom, can I play in the field?”
With a nod from his mom, the little boy began his struggle with the fence. At that point, the girls have swiftly climbed over the metal fences and diminished into the distance, leaving the boy still clumsily testing his grip. Finally, he got both his feet on the top and jumped onto the other side.
Some lush trees made up a small wood on the other end of the field. The kids started to play catch. Apparently the girls had appointed the little boy to be the “monster” as they let out thrilling screams. Still in their red school cardigans and viewing from a distance, they looked like tiny ladybugs fluttering among thick trees.
It was a fair day with lightly colored clouds, one girl got tired and laid on the grass. She rested her head on both hands and started to shout something. The other two girls and the little boy joined her and followed her gaze up the sky. Soon they were all shouting, everyone shouting the same short word at a time, all heads and eyes lifted high into the sky.
“LIIIIII-LYYYYY!” “MAAAAR-GOOOOH!” “HEEEEEY-HEEEEEY!”
The clouds seemed happy at these words as they continued to slowly drift by. As if they needed to slow down for a second to hear more clearly what the girls and the boy were trying to say. ☁️
“Mom, the next time it rains you will hear my name.”
“Why is that so?”
“Because I shouted my name to the clouds.”
“It can’t be true. What happens if no one shouted at it?”
“Then it will just rain and the clouds won’t say anything.”
Hastily, the wind set the grass back to its shape. Not a trace of running and jumping had been left. But the dreams and believes were planted in the little minds, for they continued to wonder about the magic nature can do. 🌿
其中一個女孩累了，躺在草上，開始對天上大叫。男孩和其餘的女孩湊過來，一唱一和地也跟著喊叫些什麼。
男孩告訴我，下次下雨的時候，會聽到雲朵說出他的名字，因為他已經對著雲喊了自己的名字。
「如果沒有向它喊過什麼，那會怎麼樣呢？
「那它以後就只管下雨，不會說些什麼了。」
